The Non-Traditional Instruction Program (NTI) is a program that encourages the continuation of academic instruction on days when school would otherwise be cancelled. School districts create plans to deliver instruction to every student in the district and provide for student and teacher interaction on NTI days, with the ultimate goal of continuing instruction.
Our district uses NTI in the event of multiple days of missed school. The paper packets sent home have three days of work in them. So if the district calls NTI day 1, you would complete the work labeled day 1. Only do the next two days, if more NTI days are called. You will know that it is NTI day if the school website says so. Not all snow days are NTI, it will be called NTI day if that is what we are using.
You may check the school webpage, school facebook page or WPSD for school closures.
If we have three NTI days, I will send more work home to be prepared for more NTI days.

● Phonics: th rule (bath, thump, this)
● Sight words- all, is, here, little, big
● Nightly homework:

● We have new sight

They should practice these each night. We will assess them on Friday. If you child has missed words previously,
I have added those to the back also. They really need to work to learn all
these words. Sight words are a very large part of our reading content.

to the behavior chart and marked there to show you if you child missed anything.
● Just a reminder that
students are doing two books a week. Their decodable will be returned on Monday
