On the back of the behavior chart are week two sight words. Please keep the behavior charts on Friday so you have a running list of all words covered.
(if there were letters, sounds, or numbers for your child to still work on those are written on the behavior chart as well)
Tomorrow is picture remake day for anyone who missed the first one.
In your child’s folder is word list 1. We do a new word list every Monday, this helps me to see if students are able to blend sounds to make words and anything they need to work on. I recommend that they go over these with you as well. There are typically one or two words that are sight words. Those are the ones on the list that are circled.
Phonics readers will be returned to school on Thursday. Library books will be returned on Friday. You can have both books in the bag on THursday, but we will only read the phonics reader and get a new one of those on Thursday.
Parent teacher conferences are scheduled for October 26th from 3:00-6:00. These are 10 minute meetings. They can be over the phone or in person. Please call the office to schedule your appointment or you can email me for a time.
We will be able to dress up for Halloween. We will celebrate on Friday October, 29th. We have fun activities planned throughout the day and will trick or treat door to door to teacher’s classrooms. If you would like to send something for a snack that day, please let me know and I will let you know what is needed. If you know what you want to send you can let me know that too.

En la parte posterior de la tabla de comportamiento hay dos palabras reconocibles a la vista de la semana. Conserve las tablas de comportamiento el viernes para tener una lista actualizada de todas las palabras cubiertas.

Mañana es el día de la nueva versión de la imagen para cualquiera que se haya perdido la primera.
En la carpeta de su hijo está la lista de palabras 1. Hacemos una nueva lista de palabras todos los lunes, esto me ayuda a ver si los estudiantes pueden combinar sonidos para formar palabras y cualquier cosa en la que necesiten trabajar. Les recomiendo que también los revisen con usted. Por lo general, hay una o dos palabras que son palabras reconocibles a la vista. Esos son los que están en la lista que están encerrados en un círculo.
Los lectores de fonética regresarán a la escuela el jueves. Los libros de la biblioteca se devolverán el viernes. Puede tener ambos libros en la bolsa el jueves, pero solo leeremos el lector de fonética y obtendremos uno nuevo el jueves.
Las conferencias de padres y maestros están programadas para el 26 de octubre de 3: 00-6: 00. Son reuniones de 10 minutos. Pueden ser por teléfono o en persona. Llame a la oficina para programar su cita o puede enviarme un correo electrónico por un tiempo.
Podremos disfrazarnos para Halloween. Celebraremos el viernes 29 de octubre. Tenemos actividades divertidas planificadas a lo largo del día y trataremos de puerta en puerta a los salones de clase de los maestros. Si desea enviar algo para un refrigerio ese día, hágamelo saber y le haré saber lo que se necesita. Si sabe lo que quiere enviar, puede hacérmelo saber también.
