Notes:
● Your child brought home their new library book today. These will be due back next week on
your child’s assigned day (Please send the book back in the bag with the signed reading log).
If your child does not return their book on their assigned day they will not receive a sticker for
reading their book. They will still take their AR comprehension quiz and get a new book when
they do return the book. It is very important that these are being returned on schedule so your
child does not get behind.
● Counting goals and letter recognition have been updated on your child’s behavior chart.
Please work on these nightly.
● Grandparent’s breakfast will be tomorrow, September 18 from 7:45-8:15.
● We are studying careers this week. On Friday your child will dress up as the career that they
would like to have when they grow up. We do not expect you to go buy a new costume for
career day. Items you have at home are perfectly acceptable when creating your child’s
career costume. Please do not send any weapons if your child has selected to be a cop (i.e.
no toy guns, swords, etc.)
● Our Eagle football team will be facing Mayfield Friday night. Thursday and Friday we will be
celebrating spirit days. Thursday students are encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey
and Friday we are going to be wearing blue (this is also our career day so it may be hard to
find both).
