Phonics: blends

Math- Unit 4: add and subtract within 10

Reading- 100^th day

Sight words- good, read, any, or, did, have, too, Tuesday

*We got new folders today. Please leave the old folder at home and only return the new one. Please check folders each day to see what you child is working on.

*Phonics Reader, Pig’s Jet, is tonight’s homework, please send back Friday. Students will read this book each night. Sign and return on Friday. Please leave book baggies at home until Friday.

*Every night students should read their black and white phonics reader and go over their sight words. If students missed any words on the wordlist, they need to go over those multiple times as well.

100^th day

Two notes are coming home. Please read over those. One is about dressing up like we are 100, the other is about their 100^th day projects. Projects are due on Monday Feb. 8^th but can be sent in earlier when finished. If you volunteered to send a snack for our treat bags, please have that here by Monday also.

Valentine’s Party

We will have a Valentine exchange and party on Feb. 12^th (Friday). Students can send cards to exchange. Just have your child write their name in the ‘from’ section and they can pass them out to their classmates. We do not put anything in the ‘to’ section. Please send any items for the Valentine’s party (if you are sending a snack or cards to exchange by Monday Feb 8^th)

Students will be able to pass out their own cards to their friends (we will wear gloves so we are being as safe as possible)

Students can create a Valentine’s box if they want to. Otherwise, just send a bag for them to put the cards they collect. This can be send on Friday the 12^th.
